Collision Course is a CD/DVD set released on November 30, 2004 by rapper, Jay-Z and rock band Linkin Park.[1] It went to #1 on the Billboard 200 upon its release. As of August 2009, it has sold 1,934,000 copies in the United States alone.[2] It has sold more than 5 million copies worldwide

Some Information of Meteroa Album


Meteora is the second studio album by American rock band Linkin Park. It was released on March 25, 2003 through Warner Bros. Records, following Reanimation, a collaboration album which featured remixes of songs included on debut studio album Hybrid Theory. Linkin Park released singles from Meteora for over a year, including "Somewhere I Belong", "Faint", "Lying from You", "From the Inside", "Breaking the Habit" and "Numb".
Meteora is the most successful album in the history of the Modern Rock Tracks chart, a chart that specializes in radio play (with its audience impression) of alternative rock songs. "Numb" was the biggest song of the year on the chart. The album has sold over 11 million copies worldwide as of 2007[1] and was ranked #36 on Billboard's Hot 200 Albums of the Decade.[2] The song "Session" was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance, losing to Jeff Beck's "Plan B

Linkin Park's debut album Hybrid Theory was the best-selling album in America for the year 2001. Members of the metal/hip-hop band include vocalist Chester Bennington (born 20 March 1976), guitarist Brad Delson (b. 1 December 1977), emcee Mike Shinoda (b. 11 February 1977), electronics specialist Joe Hahn (b. 15 March 1977), drummer Rob Bourdon (b. 20 January 1979), and bassist David "Phoenix" Farrell (b. 8 February 1977). The group was formed in 1996 under the name Xero; the name later was changed to Hybrid Theory and finally Linkin Park. The album Hybrid Theory, released in late 2000, included the singles "One Step Closer," "In the End" and "Crawling." Collision Course, their 2005 collaboration with rapper Jay-Z, yielded the hits "Izzo/In the End" and "Numb/Encore," the latter a 2006 Grammy winner.

Reportedly the band changed the spelling of its name when they discovered that the Internet domain lincolnpark.com was already taken.
